MESERANI SNAKE PARK

Our Meserani Snake Park and Masai village day tour is an exciting trip for those who are fascinated by snakes! Located about 25 km west of Arusha, this park is home to approximately 48 snakes commonly found in Eastern and Southern Africa.

The Meserani Snake Park provides various activities, including a guided tour where you can learn about some of the most dangerous snakes in the world, such as the Black and Green Mamba, Egyptian Cobra, and Puff Adders.

Capture your special moment and hold a real live snake. Check out the 3m plus crocodiles at feeding time and even touch a baby crocodile. The park is also home to Monitor Lizards, Tortoises, and orphaned birds that cannot be returned to the wild.

Meserani Snake Park Campsite

Whether you are on an overland truck or just stopping by, the Meserani campsite is an oasis in the heart of Maasai Land. Relax at a fully equipped campsite with hot showers and clean washrooms.

Listen to the beautiful sounds of nature as over 60 species of birds inhabit the park.

Maasai Crafts Market

After your tour through the cultural museum, visit the Maasai Crafts Market where you can browse traditional Maasai huts and watch women make beautiful jewelry. You can even dress up as a Maasai warrior with traditional blankets, shields, and spears.
